ServiceNow Developers

Ayaka Tech Consulting is seeking ServiceNow Developers to join our Tokyo office onsite and support the development and implementation of ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Create and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and flows.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and ongoing platform improvements.
• Collaborate with consultants, project teams, and customers.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow development best practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.
• Strong JavaScript skills and knowledge of ServiceNow scripting and configuration.
• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM), including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog.
• Understanding of access controls, platform security, and application deployment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work onsite at the Tokyo office.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Experience with additional ServiceNow modules, such as ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, or SPM.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and enterprise integrations.
• Japanese language proficiency for collaboration with local customers and colleagues.
